Evidence of film takes of the production according to genre conventions and regulatory guidelines

This is an image of a shot that was filmed for our short film. This shot would suit a convention for a psychological thriller, which would be due to the fact that it shows a different angle to the main character, rather than a casual eye level. The idea of this different angle would suit the convention as it would depict that the character's mindset is changing. The idea of me having my eyes closed and looking unhappy would convey that he is beginning to feel doleful to the fact that he is alone and that there isn't anyone else.

This is a shot of me in character kicking a chair in an act of anger. The use of this shot would give some concerns in terms of regulatory guidelines. The idea of me kicking a chair would hint that there is some form of violence in the short film. However, considering the fact that the character is mostly alone and does not attack someone physically, this would not need to be pushed up to a rated 15 film. Also, this act of violence that the character displays can be relatable to people who may have been in a situation where they were isolated from a lot of people to the point in which their mood changed quickly and they would lose control, hence why this would be a 12a short film.
